Healthy Dogma’s flagship product PetMix was created in the farmhouse kitchen of our founders, Tom and Mary Beth Peters. Their dog Rocky had just been diagnosed with cancer, pushing them to action for the love of their four-legged companion.

When they couldn’t find any suitable food for dogs battling serious illness on the market, they personally made the best food possible for their beloved pet, allowing Rocky to defy the odds and enjoy a healthy life for several years beyond his prognosis. The Healthy Dogma, clean ingredient, approach to caring for dogs was born, and the promise of wholesome nutrition for every dog has continued for more than 15 years.

The Healthy Dogma family helps pet owners across the United States find the best, real ingredient, nutrition and supplements for their favorite pet. Nearly all of the ingredients that go into our dog food and supplements are sourced in the USA and every product is packaged in our Michigan facility, just outside of the Motor City.
